The Story
A career shaped by real workplaces.
Amy discovered her passion for helping employers and employees thrive by creating healthier, more productive workplaces. Her journey began early, landing her first job at just 16 years old.
With a diverse career path spanning over a decade, Amy started as a certified dog groomer straight out of high school for 10 years, before transitioning into the trades for 3 years. After facing unexpected health challenges, she pivoted once again — remaining in the trades industry through customer service for a wholesale supplier.
Amy has over seven years of combined experience, alongside two focused years in Human Resources consulting. Roles as project coordinator, executive assistant, and warehouse manager gave her a unique, hands-on perspective on the real challenges businesses and teams face.
Driven by a desire to make a meaningful impact in the workplace, Amy pursued her education through Simon Fraser University and launched her freelance consulting career.
"People spend a significant part of their lives at work. The environment should be one where both employers and employees can grow, succeed, and enjoy showing up every day."
In her spare time, Amy loves being outdoors — whether hiking with her dog, riding her horse in the mountains, hunting, fishing, or spending quality time with friends and family, even if it just means sticking around home.
